Pro Player February Class Layout

This is the layout we will be doing for the month of February.  I used the Close to my Heart paper packet Pro Player.  This paper lends itself to a "gamer" theme, but I thought that it worked great for 4 Wheeling or any outside theme.  These are pictures of dirty faces after a good ride above Laketown Ut.  and then when we were at Circleville Ut.  So much fun to remember these days.

Close up of some of the embelishments.  I colored the 4 wheeler guy to look like Trevor with water pencils and then used a retired window charm to highlight it.

Sparkel and Shine Workshop

This is the 6 page workshop on the go of the Sparkle and Shine paper packet.  I used the Holiday shape sparkles and the compliments  that go with this set.  It sure is fun to add all the sparkles, and even the ornament paper has some shine to it.  Trevor got a new (used, 1/2) of a car.  When I say 1/2 of a car he has to pay for half of it.  This was such a fun surprise for him. He had no idea that he was getting it, and when he saw the key, he leaped up and ran out the door.  It was so much fun. I have taken ideas from Lisa Page and Dana Kessler, and changed 'em up a bit. 

Baby Cakes Layout

I wanted to showcase the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  I used the paper from CTMH called Baby Cakes.  This paper can be easily used for baby layouts but I wanted to show the versatility of this paper, by using it for school layouts.  This is Trevor's advancement pictures.

Canvas Art From Close to my Heart

This canvas kit is available this month for 50% off this month, while supplies last.  There is enough supplies of bling and dimential elements, to make two kits.  That is just what I did.

I purchased a 12X12 canvas and made another with the left over elements of the kit.  So what do you think, not only is it half price but I got 2 for the half price of one.  (Does that make sense?)

Tommy 4th Layout

This is our layout that will be for our class this month.  I used the Tommy paper packet from Close to my Heart, which is a nautical theme, but I chose to create a 4th of July theme.  I think it worked so that you don't even know that maybe you could be on a cruise or in the water somewhere exciting.  Class will be Thursday July 18th.  This 2 page layout is only $10, let me know if you want a kit before Wednesday the 17th.  Email me at bmbeatty@infowest.com

Display Tray

I was excited to finally get my hands on Close to my Heart's display tray.  The paper packet, For Always, is such a good all around paper and looks great with it.  Each little cubbie can  be embellished as you like.

Chantilly Layout

I really enjoyed this cute girly paper packet from Close to my Heart with fun coordinating fabric.  I wish you could see the other two fabrics that go with Chantilly.  I know go Here http://melaniebeatty.ctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=7173&CatalogID=176  I may need to take another that has the pictures of  Boyd's mother and sisters. I can't tell you how much I love this cool paper from CTMH.  I can see how versatile it is. It can be used with swimming, sports pictures and even with flowers it can become girly.

Crusin by Studio J

Studio J by Close to my Heart offers the fun paper packet called Crusin.  I needed to finish our family vacation that I started with Crusin paper and since they no longer offer it, Studio J has the digital form. I even created my own paper by using stickers.  The circle with the "jacks" like images I made with the stickers.

I have used Cricut Craft Room since it's begining and I have used it alot. Close to my heart has made a short video to help you get started.

Crusin meets Dakota

  I have always wanted to make the layout that was in the catalog a year ago. I thought these to paper packets from Close to my Heart went well together. My goal was to use the Artiste cartridge and showcase it's versatility.   My title is huge on this page, It says "Traveling to Yellowstone".  I used the traffic signs as flags for the title, then I used the gears to show that gears are a sign of moving, therefore the title traveling. I originally used Crusin paper for my pages of our vacation to Wyoming and Yellowstone.

Pear and Partridge

I wanted to post all the layouts that I made with Close to my Heart paper, Pear & Partridge.  I used the Rub on Complements and the Dimensional Elements - Holiday to help with the embellishing.  I cut the title Merry Christmas, with the Artiste Cricut cartridge and covered it with prisma glitter. I used the inspiration from Karen Pederson for some of the layouts.

Close to my Heart Video

Moonlighting Workshop

These are two of the Moonlighting layouts that we will be doing for scrapbooking class on the 15th of Nov. The third page will be a surprise. I love the colors that are included in this paper packet.  We will be using the sturdy Moonlight complements dimensional elements, the haunted assortment and the adorable black Glamour glitter alphabet stickers.  I have enjoyed using the CTMH Cricut cartridge, Artiste with the top layout.  The stamp set that comes with the Workshop on the go is so adorable with the lamp post, mummy and spider web just to name a few of the shapes. Crusin August Workshop Layout

This is our 2 page layout for our class on the 16th of August.  This is the Crusin paper packet from Close to my Heart.  I like the juniper  and black neutrals with a splash of Cranberry which can work for all sorts of out side pictures.  The title Road Trip, can be changed to your own personal choice. 

Superhero layouts 1 and 2

These pictures of Mount Rushmore worked well with the Superhero paper packet from Close to my Heart.  We went there, this year for our road trip vacation.

Superhero layouts

This is one of my many favorites layouts from CTMH idea books.  It is the third layout from our Superhero paper workshop .  It's an extra layout that went unclaimed so I just adapted it to work for our vacation to Wash. D.C. Thankfully these layouts are from different time periods and will not be close to each other.
